Portrait Drawing- Capturing a Likeness
The emphasis in this class will be on the techniques of observational drawing as well as basic anatomy and the drawing fundamentals necessary for drawing a convincing human head from various angles.  We'll draw from life as well as portraits in the museum!

Basic materials provided, sketchpad recommended.

This course is highly recommended for those interested in "Portrait Drawing-  Mastering Light and Shadow" which will be offered in on 29th April.

The LFDS 2017 Spring Term is here! Sunday Evenings!

The LFDS 2017 Spring Term is here!  

14 Sessions
Sundays 8-10 p.m.
22 January-14 May
with Easter break on 9, 16, 23 April
At Dromroe Village Hall on the UL Campus.
€100 prepaid (Makes you a member)
€12 per session- Pay as you go

22nd and 29th January will be FREE taster sessions. 
Space limited to 25, so please respond to book your place.

Bring your own materials and draw however you like!

These sessions are brought to you in association with The University of Limerick Arts Office.
Why become a member?
By prepaying, you are helping make these sessions happen by ensuring money for the model.  
Members can choose to run a session as MP (Master of Poses). 
Returning members (prepayers who prepaid for a previous block of sessions) can receive up to 50% back at the end of the term if the sessions are well attended.
