In Dublin last weekend went to see James Hanely's exhibition of life paintings. Very sharply focused paintings......feet are mostly absent?!
Interesting 5 min interview with this artist on http://www.rte.ie/podcasts/2011/pc/pod-v-07031106m05sculturefile-pid0-365952.mp3

Love the first one, MC, lots energy, and the stylizations in the other two are really cool.
Saw an article about that guy in the Sunday Times Culture section- Yeah, what's up with the absent feet and hands??? A wee bit of a cop out, no?
By the way, I'm thinking it might be cool to approach the Belltable about a show during the summer.
That would be a very cool thing to do. Really it would be a shame not to. Really cool work Marie-Clare. Yeah, in the first you are really feeling the stretch, lots of power.
